When clinically appropriate, we use diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound to evaluate underlying pathology before making any treatment recommendation.
Ultrasound assessment allows our physicians to evaluate:
- Tendon integrity
- Ligament injury
- Joint effusions
- Degenerative versus inflammatory changes
- Target structures relevant to regenerative therapy
This approach allows us to confirm treatable disease, rule out conditions that may require orthopedic referral, and establish a documented baseline prior to treatment.

Following your evaluation, you will receive a formal clinical summary and ultrasound-supported report that can be shared with:
- Your primary care physician
- An orthopedic specialist
- A physical therapist or other treating provider

Many biologic injections are performed without imaging guidance, and published medical literature shows that unguided injections frequently miss the intended target structure.
